Recently, Home Ministry has started the process of recruiting around 20,000 women force in CRPF, CISF, BSF, the SSB and the ITBP. Following are the percentage allocated to defence department.

Educational Qualification for the ITBP Jobs

Candidates should have 10th Class pass from a recognized Board, 2 years work experience in respective trade or 1 year certificate from Industrial Training Institute/ Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in respective trade or 2 years Diploma from Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the trade for Tailor, Gardner & cobbler post, 10th Class pass from a recognized Board for remaining Posts.

Age Limit and Age relaxation 2017 for Indo Tibetan Border Police recruitment. 

The eligible candidate Age must be between 18-23 for Tailor, Gardner & cobbler post and for the rest of the post the age limit will be 18-25 as on 07-09-2017.

Salary or Pay scale

Rs. 21700 – 69100 (as per 7th CPC).

Selection process 

The selection process for both posts is divided into five steps i.e

• Physical Efficiency Test
• Physical Standard Test
• Trial Test.

APPLICATION FEE & MODE OF PAYMENT – Male candidates belonging to General(UR)/ OBC category applying for recruitment to the above posts should pay Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) as application fee through online payment gateway system on www.recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in. Application received with any other mode of fee payment will be summarily rejected. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, females and Ex-servicemen are exempted from paying fee.
