Recently, J&K Public Service Commission Publish the official notification for KAS (Kashmir Administrative Services) CEE (Preliminary) and main Exam to full fill the 277 vacancies as various posts in J&K. KAS Preliminary and Main Exam Pattern || Optional Subject List

J&KPSC divided the selection Process for Kashmir Administrative Services selection Process into 3 stages and out of 3 two is Written Exam that the applier candidates must have to pass before go to third or Last stage i.e Interview. 

Preliminary Exam is first stage which consist total 450 Marks and consists of two papers i.e General Studies (150 Marks) and one subject to be selected from optional subject listed below (300 marks). Both are objective type papers (MCQ).

Geography: Law: Mathematics: Mechanical Engineering: Agriculture: Botany: Chemistry: Commerce: Economics:  Philosophy: Physics: Political Science: Psychology: Public Administration: Sociology: Civil Engineering: Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science: Statistics: Zoology: Electrical Engineering: Geology: Indian History:

Pre exam will be conduct on 25-09-2016 as from the official notification.

Main written Exam  is second stage which consist of total 8 papers:

1. General English (Paper 1)
2.  Essay in English (Paper 2)
3. General Studies (Paper 3 and 4)
4. Any two subject from the optional list (Paper 5, 6 , 7 and 8)
