What is UG NEET?

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET) is kinda Entrance exam for candidates who want to graduate in medical field like MBBS ( Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) and BDS  (Bachelor of Dental Surgery). After pass NEET exam student would eligible to applicable and get any Government or Private  medical colleges in India according to their scored marks.

NEET provides two course Undergraduate (UG) and PostGraduates (PG) courses. Following are the organization name with their official website name:-

NEET UG 2017

CBSE will be soon open the online form registration in NEET official website. Most of the candidates are confused, where they will be known about NEET UG Registration, Latest News Updates, Exam date, Application Form , Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Eligibility Criteria, Merit/Cut Off, Admit Card,Results and able to registration. SO, please don’t confuse between Cbseneet.nic.in and www.aipmt.nic.in website. Yes they both are NEET UG official website but from same year cbseneet.nic.in replace the www.aipmt.nic.in as official website. Till 2016 AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Test) was conducting National Eligibility Entrance Test for Under medical graduation. Now it is no longer conducting UG course exam and handover this duty to Central Board of Secondary Education.

  • Candidates can apply for NEET UG through online mode from http://cbseneet.nic.in/cbseneet/welcome.aspx
  • A maximum of 03 (Three) attempts are allowed for every candidate. (CBSE.nic.in news)
  • According to Times of India news: Recently,  University Grants Commission (UGC) conducted meeting on Tuesday in Delhi and they decide that the minimum age to appear for NEET is 17 year and the maximum age for open/ unreserved/ General category students is 25 years, and 30 years for the reserved category.  (Read more)

Eligible criteria for NEET 2017

Eligible criteria 
Required Qualification: Interested candidates must be intermediate (12th) pass or any equivalent examination from any recognized board/institute with PCB combination (Chemistry, Physics, Bio-technology/Biology) with English subject.
PCB  Chemistry, Physics, Bio-technology/ Biology minimum percentage: Candidates belong from General category should scored minimum 50% marks in PCB combination

Candidates belong from PH category should scored minimum 45% marks in PCB combination

Candidates belong from ST/ SC/ OBC category should scored minimum 40% marks in PCB combination .

 

Age limit:
For Candidates of Unreserved Category (UR) born on or between 08.05.1992 and 01.01.2001
For Candidates of SC/ ST/ OBC Category born on or between 08.05.1987 and 01.01.2001
Upper and lower Age Limit: Interested Candidates age should be between 17 to 25 according to 31st December of the year of admission.

Note: upper age limit for reserved category is 30

NEET 2017 latest Exam Pattern

The Exam pattern of NEET is clear with last year question paper. In BDS/ MBBS exam candidates have to answer to 180 MCQ (Multiple choice question) type question of Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany. There is good news for NEET UG applicants, According to latest Cbse neet news candidates have 8 different Languages i.e. Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati and Telugu option to attempt the exam. Candidates should note it, there will be no online mode available for NEET UG 2017, There is Strictly offline mode available to give the exam. Candidates have to complete their exam within 3 hour limit time duration. So candidates have to uptime.
Marking Scheme:

  • For each correct answer candidates get 4 marks
  • For each wrong answer, 1 mark would deducted.

Tips to crack NEET 2017

As i told you earlier, this exam won’t be going as last year. As CBSE hold the duty to NEET UG so exam level would be more high than last year. So, what you can do to crack this exam? Follow some following tricks and tips to crack NEET undergraduate in 2017

  • Firstly, you should clear all 11th and 12th concept and should read NCERT books deeply. You can take the help of Reference book like Pradeep, Arihant etc book.
  • You should give time your self i.e. eat, sleep, play and study on time. As morning is meant to best time for studies, So you can do studies in morning and play some refreshing game in evening.
  • Coaching is also a big step toward this, but if you could not do revision at home then it would be useless and waste of time.
  • You can read old year NEET UG exam paper and solve all Sets. This would help you to know how actually the paper would come and it will help you to think that way and sharp your mind.
  • In biology and chemistry, the teams and reaction should be on your tips.
  • In physics you should familiar with all formula and concept with their SI units. You can also solve NCERT question which is given after every chapter.
  • If you can’t memories formula or reaction then don’t worry, this is Reliance JIO time so you can easily use Youtube and watch videos.
  • And more over you can meet old candidates who have given this exam and guide you more better.
